Community Grants & Scholarships
The Bay Village Foundation is primarily interested in supporting capital projects that improve the quality of life in the City of Bay Village. Projects must be responsive to community needs. The Foundation will also consider requests for support of programs that benefit the citizens of the City of Bay Village. Reporting requirements from a previous year’s award are required as part of the current application.
To be eligible, an organization must be located in or provide services to residents within the City of Bay Village. Funding will only be awarded to tax-exempt organizations classified as 501(c)(3) charities by the Internal Revenue Service, or programs that have a tax-exempt fiscal agent.
The Trustees of The Bay Village Foundation will review all applications based on the criteria above and will not consider any incomplete applications or applications not submitted by the due date. If you have questions, please contact Larry Hull at the email below.

Applications must be submitted by the last day of February 2020. The Foundation expects to report back to each applicant by the end of April 2020.
2019 Grants totaling $18,000 were given to the following recipients: Bay Village Community Theater, Bay Veterans of Foreign Wars - Post 9693, Destination Bay, BAYarts, The Green Team, Lake Erie Nature Center, The Youth Challenge Organization, family Haven - Bay Village, Knickerbocker Senior Center
The Village Foundation Scholarship is awarded annually to one or more graduating and/or graduated high school students residing in Bay Village who have been actively involved as a volunteer in Bay Village educational, civic, or cultural activities. The scholarship recipient will possess a vision for improving and enhancing the quality of life in Bay Village and will offer a proposed project to the Village Foundation for possible implementation in the future.
Applications for high school seniors planning to begin college in the Fall of 2020 are due in January 2020.

Bay High School students must submit applications to your school guidance counselor. Other students can submit to email@example.com
Scholarships are typically awarded at the Bay Village Foundation Memorial Day event.

Grants and Scholarships are made possible through our fundraising activities and donations. Donations to the Bay Village Foundation help support our activities aimed at preserving the quality of life in Bay Village, Ohio. All donations are 100% tax deductible and go to support The Bay Village Foundation projects. The Bay Village Foundation is run exclusively by volunteers and has no paid staff members.
